Roland R. Acevedo is in private practice as principal attorney in the Law Office of Roland R. Acevedo, where he represents individuals, businesses and labor unions on varied issues including civil litigation, labor/contract matters, family and matrimonial law, prison/parole/supervised release, criminal defense, appeals in state and federal court, and administrative law and professional licensing/discipline.  He was formerly associated with the firm Scopetta Seiff Kretz & Abercrombie, worked as interim supervising attorney for The Legal Aid Society‚Äôs Homeless Family Rights Project (where he served before law school as Senior Coordinator of Advocacy Programs), and as managing attorney for the Osborne Association.  Roland was law clerk to the Honorable Deborah A. Batts, SDNY.  He is a cum laude graduate of Fordham Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, Associate Editor of the Fordham Law Review and a Stein Scholar.
